PROLON suture is inert like stainless steel. They do not support infection, maintain tensile strength indefinitely in tissues and provides prolonged tensile strength retention in tissue. They do not require any coating. Nylon sutures are usually not recommended for attachment of artificial prostheses in cardiovascular surgery. |
