Description | : | Polyglycolic Acid, better known as PGA, is composed of polymers of glycolide acids. PGA sutures are
coated, braided, versatile synthetic absorbable sterile surgical suture for medium term wound support with
highest tensile strength. It is an ideal and time tested synthetic absorbable suture, widely used by surgeons
all over the world. PROCRYL sutures raw material is FDA USA approved. It retains its original tensile strength until the wound has achieved adequate stability. It is coated with non-toxic and bio-compatible material called polycaprolactone calcium stearate which facilitates smooth passage through tissues and firm knotting. Compared to other synthetic absorbable suture material available which is rough and stiff, PROCRYL is smooth and flexible. |
